Issue 2, 11 May 2009

  Editorial Note

The first week of the new forum has seen a lively debate on the introduction of new vaccines in Lower Middle Income countries. Further, Femi Oyewole brings in a fresh perspective when he states that the immunization community has the responsibility to ensure that children do not succumb to diseases for which vaccines are available. As he rightly points out, "The challenge for all of us is to continue to find ways to advocate for more ownership and visibility of child survival programmes like immunization." [Read more]
