This week's Digest has James Cheyne posting on a new e-learning course that supports WHO's Measles Strategic Planning (MSP) tool. Omesh Bharti tell us about a new MIS to track immunization in India. UNICEF announces the New and Emerging Talent Initiative (NETI), which can be an entry point for external professionals interested in an international career with UNICEF. The Advanced Immunization Management (AIM) e-Learning website launched a new module on 7 October to support the World Health Organization's computer-based Measles Strategic Planning (MSP) Tool. The MSP was developed to help countries develop measles vaccination strategies to meet their measles control goals given resource limitations. The Measles Strategic Planning tool is ready for use loaded with country-specific data that can be updated by the user.

The module can be used to:

•   Serve as a technical resource about measles epidemiology and
    vaccination strategies.
•   Download WHO’s MSP tool and guide users on how to run the tool and
    interpret its results.

The Programme is an entry point for external professionals interested in an international career with UNICEF. As part of UNICEF's global talent management strategy to achieve its current and future goals, NETI focuses on attracting, selecting, developing and retaining new external talent from entry to mid-career levels to grow and to develop in the organization. NETI participants will work actively in a multicultural environment within the development and humanitarian arenas, while contributing to delivering results for children.
