The fifth annual Global Immunization Meeting was held in Geneva from 1 to 3 February 2010. The presentations were wide ranging and covered a variety of topics, including introduction of new vaccines, immunization financing, health system strengthening, etc.

PATH is seeking a Project Manager for the three-year project Enhancing Influenza Vaccine Development in Vietnam aimed at building a regionally-based, independent and sustainable influenza vaccine production capacity in Vietnam.
Working closely with senior international and national PATH staff, country collaborators (Ministry of Health, vaccine manufacturers and other related agencies), the Project Manager will oversee the project team in Vietnam and will:
-
Support project design in collaboration with US-based staff.
- Lead the detailed implementation planning for in-country activities, including assessment of vaccine manufacturers and facilitation of technical assistance to vaccine manufacturers.
- With support from the Senior Team Leader, coordinate with the Ministry of Health and other related ministries, vaccine manufacturers and other national/regional and provincial partners to plan and implement project activities.
- Coordinate, supervise, and monitor all project activities, including day-to-day project implementation.
