The Cervical Cancer Action (CCA) coalition is pleased to announce the publication of Progress in Cervical Cancer Prevention: The CCA Report Card.

The report card, launched on April 13 during the 44th Session of the United Nations Commission on Population and Development, documents global progress in low- and middle-income countries over the past decade to fight cervical cancer using new, proven, and cost-effective approaches.

The main message of the report: we know we can do it, we know how to do it, and now is the time to make it happen!

South-South News, CCA’s media partner for the event, has posted a five-minute video, Malawi and CARICOM Fight to Beat Women's Cancers.

Her Excellency Madam Mutharika, First Lady of Malawi (pictured second from left), was a special guest speaker at the UN event.

Thanks to the American Cancer Society and the Malawi Mission to the United Nations for making the link with South-South News and the the PATH Cervical Cancer Prevention Team for letting us know ibout it!
