Logistics 2 EPI Log Forecasting Tool 2009

The present tool is designed to guide the process of forecasting the needs for vaccines, safe injections equipment as well as cold chain and ambient storage capacities for national immunization programmes.

It provides two options for analysis: scenarios analysis and multi year forecast of needs.

1. The scenario analysis is conducted when the programme is undertaking changes in selection of the  vaccine product in terms of formulation and/or presentation. 
2. The multi year forecast is conducted once decision is made to define the needs for the coming next years.
